Federico Ferrandina

a contemporary composer in equilibrium between the classical and electronic music
Italian music artist. Born in Matera in 1978, graduated in Classical Guitar and Composition. His musical style is identified by deep neoclassical soundscapes, tridimensional harmonies and synth drops.
Many of his songs and instrumental pieces became soundtracks for films and TV shows in USA, France, Canada and Poland, like Mexican Mariachi, featured in multiple Academy Award winner Dallas Buyers Club. His credits include HBO, NBC and ABC TV series soundtracks.
Recently he scored the whole first season of The Comedians tv series, aired by Italian Sky Atlantic in late 2017.
He also deals with orchestral arrangements and music production for other artists in Norway, Germany, France, Italy and U.S. He’s part of the Playing For Change project, for which he arranged the cello part played by Yo-Yo Ma on the song Everyday People.
He’s the composer of the musical You, Fascinating You, finalist at the Chicago Musical Theatre Festival 2015 with lyrics penned by American writer Germaine Shames.
