Giorgio is an awarded composer and film director from Italy. He has composed soundtracks of dozens of films, theatrical performances and installations. He produced sounds and visuals for artists such as David LaChapelle, Tim Burton, Paolo Giordano, Daniele Gaglianone, Stephen Fingleton, Antonio Citterio. He made sound art for installations presented at the MAXXI in Rome, at the Biennials in Bordeaux and in Lisbon, at the Museo del 900 in Milan, at Triennale in Milan.
The short film Riverbero premiered at the Rome Film Festival, signed as co-director and co-composer, was presented in dozens of festivals. At the 74th Venice Film Festival he presented his first feature film ‘Beautiful Things’, for which he signed screenplay writing, direction and music. It won the award for Best Italian Film according to the young jury and the best first feature award at the prestigious Cph:Dox. The film has been screened in more than 120 festivals all over the world and has been awarded more than 15 times, realized in more than 10 countries and translated in 17 languages. In Venice he also presented his first VR short film Denoise. Denoise has been presented in world festivals like Melbourne, Oberhausen, Hot Docs.
In 2020 he has written and directed 'Quartetto’ commissioned by David’s Museum in Florence, a musical short film for four ancient instruments that has been relaunched by the most important international newspapers.

In 2020 he wrote, directed and composed the feature film 'The importance of being an architect', ditribuited by Nexo and Sky, which, with the important architect and designer Antonio Citterio, questions the future of the cities of tomorrow.
At the 79th Venice Film Festival as the closing film of the International Critics' Week, he presented as director, screenwriter and composer the fictional short film 'Happy Birthday', produced in Moscow in March 2022 completely through video calls. In 2022 his non-profit short musical Domino was screened in more than 70 cinemas in Italy.
As co-composer and co-producer of Alicia Cano's documentary Bosco he has collected several awards for the soundtrack such as Best Score at critics awards in Uruguay in 2022 and nominations for the Goya Awards, the Platino Awards in Madrid, the victories for best documentary at the Malaga IFF and the Festival dei Popoli..
With Rodolfo Mongitore (co-author of the main soundtracks) and Marco Quartana (Executive Director of Scuola Holden founded by Alessandro Baricco) he leads the multidisciplinary studio MYBOSSWAS in Turin founded in 2011 with Federico Biasin.
